The famous squeezed cheese of our Maraş has a delicious taste and is also a great burden for our mothers. Because winter cheeses were procured from remote villages, when they could not fit in the houses, there was a suitable place in the icehouses despite the lack of space and they would be stored there under difficult conditions one winter.
